Daniel Posey is the Training Director at Colemans Creek, overseeing all civilian courses, military/law enforcement training, and competitive shooting programs. With years of experience behind the gun—including 15 years in the U.S. Army and 12 years of those in Special Operations—Dan brings deep operational expertise and a commitment to precision to every aspect of the range.
He deployed to Afghanistan, Iraq, and Somalia during his time in uniform and spent four years instructing at the U.S. Army Special Forces Sniper Course, where he trained some of the military’s most capable long-range shooters. That background laid the foundation for a no-BS, fundamentals-driven approach to marksmanship that translates across mission sets—from tactical to competitive.
In addition to his military career, Daniel is an active competitive shooter and dedicated hunter. He believes in leading from the front, constantly sharpening his own skills while building up the next generation of shooters.
At Colemans Creek, Dan is focused on creating a world-class training environment where shooters of all backgrounds—civilian, military, or law enforcement—can push their limits, grow in confidence, and develop the mindset and skills to win.

Mark Le is a retired U.S. Army Special Forces Master Sergeant (18Z) with 17.5 years of Special Operations experience. He served as the Lead Sniper Instructor for the 1st Special Forces Group Sniper Detachment and completed four combat rotations, two to Afghanistan and two to the Philippines. That operational experience shaped a teaching philosophy built on fundamentals, efficiency, and composure in complex environments.
Mark has a long record of success at the USASOC International Sniper Competition, finishing 1st in 2018, 3rd in 2017, and 5th in 2011. In the Precision Rifle Series, he was the Top Military & Law Enforcement Shooter for the 2021 season, has finished as high as 29th nationally, and remains a consistent Top 100 competitor.
At Coleman’s Creek Training Center, Mark serves as an instructor and match director focused on teaching and developing challenging courses of fire that push shooters beyond their comfort zones and drive measurable improvement. His instruction blends operational experience with years of competitive success, emphasizing disciplined fundamentals and repeatable performance under pressure.
Mark is committed to building a professional and supportive shooting culture, mentoring new competitors, and advancing the precision rifle community through purposeful training and competition.

Matthew Kalisch served 12 years in the United States Army where 10 of those were as a Special Forces Green Beret. Matthew

Matthew Kalisch served 12 years in the United States Army where 10 of those were as a Special Forces Green Beret. Matthew retired in the fall of 2023 as a Sergeant First Class Specials Forces Weapons Sergeant. He was a special forces static line jump master, freefall jumpmaster, Level II human intel graduate, 3x special forces advanced urban combat course graduate, special forces advanced reconnaissance target analysis and exploitation techniques course grad, senior leadership course, and master trainer course graduate. During his service he completed 4 deployments (2x Afghanistan, 2x Africa). He was master trainer for his team and for the host nation special forces (Afghan Special forces, Nigerian special forces, Chadian special forces).
Matthew is a 2x Tactical games competitor with a 3rd place finish in the Elite division. He also has many wins in all other shooting sports including 3gun,2gun, USPSA, and precision rifle. He is also one of the primary instructors for the Vortex Optics CQB and flat range classes. Matthew is also a certified USCCA instructor.
